Now that we’re back to our regular routines after the Holidays, things are slowly getting busier. With this new normal, our responsibilities have more than doubled, and for some people tripled. With this, meal preparation can be left at the last minute. I can certainly understand your dilemma as I've taken on more responsibilities in this post pandemic world. Don’t fret folks, to lend a helping hand, here’s a super quick meal that takes less than 30 minutes to whip up.

HOW TO MAKE
INGREDIENTS
2 tbsp cooking oil
1/2 bulb garlic, minced
200g dried shiitake mushrooms, sliced
1 lb snow peas, ends trimmed
250g shrimp
5-6 tbsp. oyster sauce
PROCEDURE
1. In a heated pan, add oil and sauté garlic & shiitake mushrooms. Be careful not to burn the garlic as you don’t want any burnt or bitter taste to this dish. This should take around 2 minutes.
2. Once aromatic and the mushrooms and garlic become a bit translucent, add snow peas, shrimp & oyster sauce to the pan. Sauté for another 2-3 minutes, making sure that the shrimp turns pink and is thoroughly cooked. Also, cook the snow peas until it turns bright green but still crunchy. Turn off heat.
3. Serve as is, or with a bowl of steamed white rice.
