RECIPE - Chinese Sausage (Lap Cheong) Omelette
ℂ𝕙𝕚𝕟𝕖𝕤𝕖 𝕊𝕒𝕦𝕤𝕒𝕘𝕖 (𝕃𝕒𝕡 ℂ𝕙𝕖𝕠𝕟𝕘) 𝕆𝕞𝕖𝕝𝕖𝕥𝕥𝕖! 🍳
I love the slightly burned bottom and edges and the perfectly steamed omelette at the top. Enjoy it with or without rice and a few condiments such as ketchup or soy sauce.
HOW TO MAKE
1. Dice a quarter on an onion, slice 2 lap cheongs diagonally and thinly, chop some green onions and scramble 2 eggs with 1/2 tsp of white pepper and chicken powder each.
2. Sauté the onion and lap cheongs in little oil for a about 2 minutes, then in low to medium heat, pour the scrambled egg and top with green onions. Place the lid to steam the egg for 5-7 minutes
3. All done and ready to eat!
